Mr Magoo is a wildcaught male Senegal that has been in his last home for over 20 years. We don't know how old he is but he IS at least 34. Unfortunately his mama passed away and her family members decided it would not be in his best interest to move across the country to be with them. To our knowledge, Mr Magoo has never been around other birds. After being here for a bit he definitely enjoys talking and making sounds, but gets irritated when other birds are in his space. Mr Magoo will never be friendly to people and just needs someone who wants to care for him. We’ve already gotten him onto a much better diet, but he’s still thin and shows signs of chronic respiratory issues from the bad air quality in his home. Upon x-ray it was found that he has arthritis in his wings and they hyperextend, making it so he’s unable to fly, in addition to kyphosis. He desperately needs somewhere quiet that is willing to care for him for the remainder of his days.
